I raise my clenched fist towards the heavens
I cry
I pray
I plead
I shake with rage
and still everyone but me recieve the things they need
why does it go this way
why does it feel like the short end of the stick
is in grasped tightly in my hand
while someone walks away
with the rest of it
in the end I know all the things I need
at this point in time won't matter
but they sure would be useful to me now
I see the prosperity of others and wonder
what have I done wrong
do I need to beg more
weep more
pray more
or simply let life just deal me what is due?
